I receive my French press in a box. It had bubble wrap to protect the glass and the stainless steel from getting smudged too messed up. My that came with the French Press itself it also included a stir spoon to get the bloom off the spoon can easily be hooked to the side of the press. It also included a backup strainer as these things get worn over time. It included a measuring spoon for the grounds. How you use the Press you were going to take the top off the press put in your coffee grounds. You will boil your water separately for about 5 minutes. Pour the water into the Press. Stir and remove the top layer at the top back on. Now all you do is gently pressed down and you will have a nice fresh cup of coffee. This process is fairly easy to clean just make sure you get all the grounds. This item is well-made very sturdy and is very nice for gifting. It also includes a set of instructions in case you've never used a French press before. I received this item at a discounted rate for my honest unbiased opinion.
