My backup camera arrived in a box. It was very well protected it had a little foam piece on there to protect the screen. At first I thought there was no camera but before you panic it's in the foam pocket that looks like wires. The screen has a 7 inch diameter. The view on the screen is beautiful and very clear. When you back up it shows area of green-safe, yellow-close and red-too close. The camera is a pain in my personal opinion to set up and the instructions are horrible. But the quality and make of this camera are really good over all. I bought a van a few months back and didn't want to pay for all of the upgrades up front and this is such an affordable way to upgrade it. Just know if you have a newer vehicle you need to check your warranty before installing or you could void it. Over all I really like this and am excited to have it! I received this product for free for my honest unbiased opinion.
