My golden globe lights came in a protective plastic box. They wear neatly tied together so they compact but still easy to get undone. They require 3 AA batteries. They include a on, blinking, and off switch. They have clear plastic over the wiring. They are little golden bohemian styled orbs and the light is warm white. I decided to hang mine on the wall because of the seperation of the wires they were easy to hang with only 2 nails. They can add quite a little flair to any room. The orbs are also metal so your not really worried about possible plastic melting. After running for quite a while they never got hot so they were safe to use in my daughters room. I received this product for free for my honest unbiased opinion.
