Where the filter goes is where you can add  smaller fruit or vegetables to infuse and flavor your water, or you can add them directly into the bottle as well. The bottle lid comes off making it simple to fill or empty. There's also a nice normal drinking spout. The water bottle in of nice quality. The color I received is plum and it has a beautiful bright pop of color. But you can also see right through the bottle when drinking. There is one filter included, I kinda wish they would have added at least one more.  The top has a nice wide neck which I also like because it much easier to fill in a rush!
