My fedora arrived in a protective plastic packaging as well as boxed to keep from being smushed. The fedora is tan and the strapping is cogniac brown. I love the cogniac brown! The strap also tinted silver buckle. The fedora is made of straw that has been tightly woven and weaved. The hat is firm and fits on my head perfectly. The hat has cloth stitched into the inside to make it comfortable to wear. The stitching is well done and there is no runs or tears. I received this product for free directly from the seller for my honest unbiased opinion.
