These shorts have a stretchy waist band. There is a removable butt pad which enables you for long term riding. I like that the pad is removable so you can wear just the stylish shorts whenever you want as well. The material is like a waterproof windproof material. They are light weight which makes them great for the summer. They also have pockets that include zippers so you don't loose your phone on a ride. Love the style and clothes choosen for these shorts. The fit is right on as well. The material on the back is also stretchy!! Over all a great pair of shorts whether you ride mountain, BMX, or just Want to wear to the store for a fast run.
