My motorized building blocks came in a box with approximately 81 peices. It requires one AA battery to self crank. The peices in the box are not for younger children as it does contain smaller peices. There are small figurines that need to be snapped together for the different rides you can buold. You can buold several different things and even create your own ideas with this set. This set is great for children who love to buold or even your little engineers in training. The peices are vibrant differ colors of blue, green red, pink, yellow and orange. Inside there are stickers for the house and the gears to decorate them up a bit. There are little pegs in each block to attach a gear whereever you want. This set also include a hand crank so if you don't have batteries on hand that's always an option. The only thing I font like about this is there aren't little holes on the sides of the blocks. Cute set for us to keep at grandma's house when we need something to play with!
